Marché - non merci!

my family and i used to LOVE going to the Marché... you know Richtree at the corner of Yonge and Front street in Toronto. It was great because everyone can eat what they like. My mom always takes the bouillabaisse. My dad curry rice or noodles and i usually take pasta or rosti. It closed for renovations for a while so when it reopened we really wanted to go. I also brought a friend with us. the decor was ok but the food was not very good. even my friend johnny who had pizza didnt like it. How do you mess up pizza? my mom's bouillabaisse was really chicken soup with 2 mussels and a few pieces of fish. they gave kids some plastic bol at the door for the kids meal with chickens inside like we're babies! why do we have to carry that bol around? the ice cream was so small and it took so long to get anything. any way it was very dissapointing. too bad so sad but i dont think i want to go there any more... :(

Sorry about being late... our usual friday night dinner was postponed to saturday... This week we went to Real Thailand Restaurant on Bloor Street near Spadina. It was good. We ordered fried calamari, tum yum soup and spring rolls for appetizers. The soup and the calamari were good... the spring rolls a little oily. For dinner i ordered the mango chicken; my mom ordered the garlic shrimps and my dad ordered chicken curry... Mango chicken not a repeat but i loved the spicy chicken curry.
Stay tuned for my all time favorite restaurants soon!
